BLEAK HORIZONS

This project invites consideration of the impact of humanity's consumption of Earth's natural resources in order to sustain the functioning of our collective society.

It explores the way we consume by focusing on the extraction and processing of minerals required by heavy industry.  Careful camera placement has been used to juxtapose the structures with barren land that surrounds them hinting that continued consumption might be leading us towards a breaking point.

This project was exhibited at Trongate 103, Glasgow, in association with StreetLevel Photoworks and The New Photographers Guild 3 2017-18.
